THE VISUAL BRIEF

A quick Instagram check. Fresh eyes on what someone encounters when they first arrive.

A name. A few lines. A visual world that speaks.

Your Instagram communicates something before anyone begins to explore it. It creates an atmosphere, offers a first orientation and shapes whether someone feels drawn to stay.

Sometimes, what you intended is immediately present. Sometimes, something essential becomes lost between the individual elements.

The Visual Brief is a concise outside view of your Instagram as it stands today.

I look at the whole, then at the few details carrying the greatest weight - what already supports your presence, the energy it holds, what may be interrupting it and where a small change could make a meaningful impact..

What comes into view

I · THE IMMEDIATE IMPRESSION

The feeling and understanding that arise before someone begins to scroll.

II · YOUR BIO

Whether your name, bio, links and introductory words offer a clear sense of who you are and what can be found here.

III · IMAGE + COLOUR

What your imagery, colour choices and typography communicate -and the energetic field they create together.

IV · THE OVERALL RHYTHM + ENERGY

How the visible elements of your profile meet, whether they feel intentional and what begins to feel recognizable.

What returns to you

Your Visual Brief returns to you in two parts:

I · THE WRITTEN BRIEF

A concise one-to-two-page review containing:

— what lands immediately;
— what is already carrying your presence;
— what may be interrupting or weakening the impression;
— and considered proposals for enhancing and refining the whole.

Within the written Brief, I also share one or two of the less obvious visual/strategic principles most relevant to your presence - small truths gathered through years of looking, creating and refining. Details that are easily overlooked, yet can change the way the whole is felt once you begin to see them.

II · THE VOICE MEMO

A short personal voice memo adds a more intuitive layer, reflecting the energy your presence carries, where its visual expression feels aligned with the essence of your work and where something may not yet fully meet.

The intention is not to rethink everything. It is to reveal which thoughtful refinements could strengthen the whole without calling for complete reinvention.

Final Details

Sometimes, the smallest shift changes the way the whole is felt.
