I treat your personal data confidentially and in accordance with the statutory data protection regulations and this privacy policy. When you use this website, various personal data are collected. Personal data are data with which you can be personally identified. This privacy policy explains what information I collect and what I use it for. It also explains how and for what purpose this happens.

Please note that data transmission over the internet (e.g., when communicating by email) may have security gaps. Complete protection of data against access by third parties is not possible.

The party responsible for processing data on this website is:

The responsible party is the natural or legal person who alone or jointly with others decides on the purposes and means of processing personal data (e.g., names, email addresses, etc.).

Notice Regarding Data Transfer to the USA

Among other things, tools from companies based in the USA are integrated on my website. When these tools are active, your personal data may be transferred to the US servers of the respective companies. Please note that the USA is not a safe third country within the meaning of EU data protection law. US companies are required to release personal data to security authorities without you as the data subject being able to take legal action against this. Therefore, it cannot be ruled out that US authorities may process, evaluate, and permanently store your data on US servers for monitoring purposes. I have no influence over these processing activities.

Revocation of Your Consent to Data Processing

Many data processing operations are only possible with your express consent. You may revoke consent that you have already given at any time. The legality of the data processing carried out until the revocation remains unaffected by the revocation.

Right to Object to Data Collection in Special Cases and to Direct Advertising (Art. 21 GDPR)

IF DATA PROCESSING IS BASED ON ART. 6 ABS. 1 LIT. E OR F GDPR, YOU HAVE THE RIGHT AT ANY TIME TO OBJECT TO THE PROCESSING OF YOUR PERSONAL DATA FOR REASONS ARISING FROM YOUR PARTICULAR SITUATION; THIS ALSO APPLIES TO PROFILING BASED ON THESE PROVISIONS. THE RESPECTIVE LEGAL BASIS ON WHICH PROCESSING IS BASED CAN BE FOUND IN THIS PRIVACY POLICY. IF YOU OBJECT, WE WILL NO LONGER PROCESS YOUR AFFECTED PERSONAL DATA UNLESS WE CAN DEMONSTRATE COMPELLING LEGITIMATE GROUNDS FOR THE PROCESSING THAT OVERRIDE YOUR INTERESTS, RIGHTS, AND FREEDOMS, OR IF THE PROCESSING IS FOR THE ESTABLISHMENT, EXERCISE, OR DEFENSE OF LEGAL CLAIMS (OBJECTION UNDER ART. 21 PARA. 1 GDPR).

IF YOUR PERSONAL DATA IS PROCESSED TO CONDUCT DIRECT ADVERTISING, YOU HAVE THE RIGHT TO OBJECT AT ANY TIME TO THE PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA CONCERNING YOU FOR THE PURPOSE OF SUCH ADVERTISING; THIS ALSO APPLIES TO PROFILING TO THE EXTENT THAT IT IS ASSOCIATED WITH SUCH DIRECT ADVERTISING. IF YOU OBJECT, YOUR PERSONAL DATA WILL SUBSEQUENTLY NO LONGER BE USED FOR DIRECT ADVERTISING PURPOSES (OBJECTION UNDER ART. 21 PARA. 2 GDPR).

Right to File Complaints with Regulatory Authorities

In the event of violations of the GDPR, data subjects have a right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, in particular in the member state of their habitual residence, place of work, or place of the alleged violation. The right to lodge a complaint is without prejudice to any other administrative or judicial remedies.

Right to Data Portability

You have the right to have data that I process based on your consent or in fulfillment of a contract automatically delivered to yourself or to a third party in a standard, machine-readable format. If you require the direct transfer of data to another responsible party, this will only be done to the extent technically feasible.

Information, Deletion, and Correction

Within the framework of the applicable legal provisions, you have the right at any time to free information about your stored personal data, their origin and recipient, and the purpose of data processing and, if necessary, a right to correct or delete these data. For this purpose, as well as other questions on the subject of personal data, you can contact me at any time at the address given in the imprint.

Right to Restrict Processing

You have the right to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data. For this purpose, you can contact me at any time at the address given in the imprint. The right to restrict processing applies in the following cases:

If you dispute the accuracy of your personal data stored by me, I usually need time to check this. For the duration of the review, you have the right to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data.

If the processing of your personal data happened/is happening unlawfully, you can request the restriction of data processing instead of deletion.

If I no longer need your personal data, but you need them to exercise, defend, or claim legal rights, you have the right to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data instead of deletion.

If you have lodged an objection pursuant to Art. 21 Para. 1 GDPR, a balance must be struck between your interests and mine. As long as it has not been determined whose interests prevail, you have the right to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data.

If you have restricted the processing of your personal data, these data – apart from their storage – may only be processed with your consent or for the establishment, exercise, or defense of legal claims or for the protection of the rights of another natural or legal person or for reasons of important public interest of the European Union or a member state.

Cookies

My website uses so-called "cookies." Cookies are small text files and do not cause any damage to your device. They are either stored temporarily for the duration of a session (session cookies) or permanently (permanent cookies) on your device. Session cookies are automatically deleted after your visit. Permanent cookies remain stored on your device until you delete them yourself or an automatic deletion is carried out by your web browser.

Partially, cookies from third-party companies can also be stored on your device when you enter my site (third-party cookies). These enable me or you to use certain services of the third-party company (e.g., cookies for processing payment services).

Cookies have various functions. Numerous cookies are technically necessary because certain website functions would not work without them (e.g., the shopping cart function or the display of videos). Other cookies are used to evaluate user behavior or display advertising.

Cookies necessary for carrying out the electronic communication process (necessary cookies) or for providing certain functions you desire (functional cookies, e.g., for the shopping cart function) or for optimizing the website (e.g., cookies for measuring the web audience) are stored based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR, unless another legal basis is specified. The website operator has a legitimate interest in storing cookies for the technically error-free and optimized provision of its services. If consent has been requested for the storage of cookies, the storage of the relevant cookies is based solely on this consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR); consent can be revoked at any time.

You can set your browser to inform you about the setting of cookies and allow cookies only in individual cases, exclude the acceptance of cookies for certain cases or in general, and activate the automatic deletion of cookies when closing the browser. Disabling cookies may limit the functionality of this website.

Insofar as cookies from third-party companies or for analysis purposes are used, I will inform you separately within the framework of this privacy policy and, if necessary, ask for consent.

Inquiry by Email or Telephone

If you contact me by email or telephone, your inquiry, including all resulting personal data (name, inquiry), will be stored and processed by me for the purpose of processing your request. Under no circumstances do I pass these data on.

The processing of these data is based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR, if your request is related to the execution of a contract or necessary for the performance of pre-contractual measures. In all other cases, the processing is based on my legitimate interest in the effective handling of requests addressed to me (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR) or on your consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR) if this has been requested.

The data you send to me via contact requests will remain with me until you request me to delete them, revoke your consent to storage, or the purpose for data storage ceases to apply (e.g., after your request has been processed). Mandatory statutory provisions - in particular statutory retention periods - remain unaffected.

Audio and Video Conferences

Data Processing

For communication with our customers, I use online conference tools. The specific tools I use are listed below. When you communicate with me via video or audio conference over the Internet, your personal data are collected and processed by me and the provider of the respective conference tool.

The conference tools collect all data that you provide (e.g., email address and/or phone number). Furthermore, the conference tools process the duration of the conference, the start and end (time) of participation in the conference, the number of participants, and other "context information" related to the communication process (metadata).

Moreover, the provider of the tool processes all technical data required to handle the online communication. This includes, in particular, IP addresses, MAC addresses, device IDs, device type, operating system type and version, client version, camera type, microphone or speaker, and the type of connection.

If content is exchanged, uploaded, or otherwise made available within the tool, it is also stored on the servers of the tool providers. Such content includes, but is not limited to, cloud recordings, chat/ instant messages, voicemails uploaded photos and videos, files, whiteboards, and other information shared while using the service.

Please note that I do not have complete control over the data processing operations of the used tools. My options are largely determined by the corporate policy of the respective provider. Further information on data processing by the conference tools can be found in the privacy policies of the respective tools used below this text.

Purpose and Legal Bases

The conference tools are used to communicate with prospective or existing contractual partners or to offer certain services to my customers (Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. b GDPR). Moreover, the use of the tools serves to generally simplify and speed up communication with my company (legitimate interest in the sense of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR). If consent has been requested, the use of the respective tools is based on this consent; consent can be revoked at any time with effect for the future.

Storage Duration

The data collected directly by me via the video and conference tools will be deleted from my systems as soon as you request me to delete them, revoke your consent to storage, or the purpose for data storage no longer applies. Stored cookies remain on your device until you delete them. Mandatory statutory retention periods remain unaffected.

I have no influence on the storage duration of your data that are stored by the operators of the conference tools for their own purposes. For details, please directly contact the operators of the conference tools.

Conference Tools Used

I use the following conference tools:

Zoom

I use Zoom. The provider of this service is Zoom Communications Inc., San Jose, 55 Almaden Boulevard, 6th Floor, San Jose, CA 95113, USA. For details on data processing, refer to Zoom's privacy policy: https://zoom.us/privacy.

Affiliate Programs

I participate in various affiliate programs. If you order from the providers via a link on the site, I receive a small commission. The price for you does not change thereby. To assign the order to my link, cookies are set on your computer, based on which our payout amount can be determined.

The storage of these cookies is based on Art. 6 lit. f GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest, as only through the cookies the amount of its affiliate compensation can be determined.
